- XP Safedisc fix version 1.0
(2002-02-01)
When running a restricted user account with fast user switching under
Windows XP, some games will not start correctly. The game requests that
the original disk be placed in the drive, even if it is already present.
To remedy this issue, download and run this fix.
This software will not alter or patch any component on your system, it
will only change the startup state of the system component needed to start
your game from start on demand (on game load), to start at boot (on Windows
XP start).
- Age of Empires II version 2.0a(2000-08-31)
The Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings Update 2.0a features many updates and
fixes, including the AI update, town center changes, improved performance of
single player campaign games, and improved overall stability.
- Age of Empires II AI-fix version 1.0(1999-11-30)
This update addresses the issue where the computer player resigns after a few
minutes of play. It does not affect multiplayer, meaning players with the update
can play with players who do not have the update. It is localized into English,
French, German, Spanish, and Italian all in the same build. You choose your
language at the start of setup.
